Join Us In Worship

The saints here are ordinary people, just like you. We have diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, careers and ages, but we are united in faith and love. We are one family in Christ, working together to get to heaven. Come worship and study with us, and hear the wonderful story of Jesus!

Spring Meeting: Where Is God When I Hurt?

This series of lessons from April 13 to April 15 will address real questions and issues that each of us faces when it comes to suffering. Packed with Scripture and insight from those who have walked the path of pain, you will learn that you aren't the only one.

Suffering is inevitable — you will suffer, are suffering or have suffered. It is the universal language for all of us. So, what now? How do you get through today, much less all the "todays" that follow? How do you rely on God in tough times? Why did this happen to you? How do you help your children? Will you ever be able to heal and move on?

Please join us April 13-15 for this special weekend series that will direct us to biblical insight on how to deal with life when life gets hard.

Word Of The Week: Leprosy

Leprosy was a truly horrible disease to contract in ancient times. It grotesquely disfigured one’s body. A Google search of leprosy images will give you a new understanding of this dreadful condition.

Also, lepers were isolated from the community for fear of contagion. So not only were these poor souls suffering with all sorts of physical wretchedness, they were shunned, despised and feared by all but the bravest who dared to bring them some food and other supplies.

So when Jesus entered a Samaritan village, He heard distant shouts from 10 lepers: “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” (Luke 17:11). And He did. He cleansed them of their horrible condition without effort or fanfare. A free gift — and what a gift! They were restored to pristine health and able to rejoin society again!

What condition of yours is so repugnant, so unforgiveable, so … bad … that you think the Lord would be repulsed by you? Our sins leave us in worse shape than leprosy, yet Jesus is as willing to cleanse us from them as He was to cleanse the lepers of their dreaded disease.
